There would be no problem about taxes since NO customs duties and taxes are collected on importations with value of PHP 10,000 or below. However, the possible issue would be on the quantity. Please take note that "health supplements" are classified as "Regulated Imports". Meaning, if these are for personal use/consumption, the quantity imported should not exceed the quantity prescribed/set under rules and regulations.
Below is the governing rule on importation of "health supplements" for personal use/consumption. Please be guided accordingly.
"Vitamins, Supplements, and other health supplements" may be allowed to be imported without FDA Clearance PROVIDED THAT
(a) these are for personal use; and
(b) the quantity does not exceed a total of 500 grams (net weight).
IMPORTANT NOTE:
If the quantity exceeds the limit (500 grams), FDA will not issue any clearance for the importation. As a result, the items will be seized and forfeited in favor of the government.
